According to the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management documentation, stockrooms are places to which assets are assigned. Stockrooms can contain any type of asset, whether it is consumable or not, as long as it is available for use or deployment. Stockrooms are separate, standalone entities in the Asset Management application that help manage assets across locations and monitor stock levels1.
