HP Multitenant Device Context (MDC) is a new innovative technology that enables multi-tenancy for enterprise data center network platforms. In other words, it gives customers the ability to virtualize one physical switch into up to four logical switches, with each logical device having its own tenants. HP MDC supports up to four tenants per physical platform, and here there are 27 switches, so a maximum of 108 tenants is supported.
