C correct
I see the confusion between the C and D as answers. Actually, C would have been the perfect answer if the later part of the reason is modified in this manner - and the child (which in this case is the line item) can be re-parented. There is a field called Allow reparenting in Fields and Relationships that allows for a master (in a master-detail relationship) to allow a child to be re-parented.
must be Master detail to use roll up summary to have te total amont :)
