@Loza , i think it can't be Profile bc it is saying a team, so giving access just to a number of users. If we give access to the profile, we may give access to unwanted users, so we create a permission set and we give access just to the users we want.

I presume the 'Support Users' team don't have 'ACCESS' to the object hence why they don't access the Lead object. In this case, why Permission Sets? We have to to give them access first before we extending their permission. One way of providing access to object is via profile. So I will go for A. I will monitor this to see what other peeps think!
