A. The client should consider the nature of their applications, number of users, and future load scale and select a shape that meets those requirements with a buffer for load spikes. A good starting point could be one that closely matches their on-premises hardware.

B. You should advise your customer to select the largest shape with lots of OCPUs and a high memory count. They can run their database on the larger shape and monitor it to determine the optimum values and then downsize when they're sure they've got it right.

C. The client should carefully consider the nature of their applications, number of users, and run tests to try and predict their future workload size. They should then select a shape that will comfortably run their workload for the next few years because once they've selected a shape and instance size the only way to change is to delete the instance and redeploy.

D. The only reason to move to the cloud is if the customer's on-premises hardware is older and running out of gas. Since the Oracle Database Cloud runs on the latest Intel chips and the fastest available memory, they can safely provision with less than 10% of their current on-premises hardware capacity and be sure that their database will run at its fastest.

E. Since they're moving on-premises databases to the cloud, they'll obviously want to utilize high memory shapes because everyone can use more memory and that's the best platform for the future.
