refer to SWDI learner guide, page 362AOS 8.x supports two topologies – MM - MC and Standalone MC. These are described below.
MM - MC
• The MM provides centralized visibility for all UCC calls made via its MCs
• OpenFlow configuration is required
• All UCC-relevant configurations must be done on the MM
Standalone MC
• All ALGs run on the MC.
• OpenFlow is not required in this topology
Configuration is done only on each MC node
